CHristophe Boscher is a French agronomist specialized in tropical agronomy. He has accumulated nearly 25 years of experience in agricultural development in the countries of the South (more specifically in West Africa), during which he mainly supported farmers' organizations mobilized on different sectors (plant and animal Animal husbandry) to strengthen their skills in production, processing and marketing activities. He has been working for the "Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières" NGO for nearly 15 years and has been in charge of the subregional "Equity" program since January 2016. This program, which covers five countries in the subregion (Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali and Togo) aims in particular to support the structuring of producer organizations and the sectors in which they operate, through the development of fair trade and to improve the legibility of fair trade as a tool for sustainable development.

Expert in sustainable community development in West Africa - experience since 2009.
Souleymane Jules GAYE, Country Representative of RONGEAD-ETC TERRA in Burkina Faso, has a strong experience in rural development in West Africa, particularly in primary production and processing sectors, in the identification and valorization of Individual or collective local initiatives, on the associative life (process of implementation, management and operation). Since 2015 (Gourmantour project: EU fund and led by UEMOA), it has resolutely committed, in West Africa in general and in Burkina Faso in particular, to promote the development of organic certified organic chains in Burkina Faso. Through the Label Bio du Faso project (fund: ECOWAS-AFD via the ARAA), of which he is the coordinator, he accompanies the emergence of one of the first national organic labels in West Africa: the Bio SPG Label (Participative Participation System) of Burkina Faso.

Madeleine TSIMI, Executive Director VECO
Madeleine Tsimi is the Co Executive Director at VECO International, where she is also employed as regional director in West Africa. She has a broad experience in trade, sustainable development and stakeholder engagement. From 2000 to 2010, she worked as General Manager of an Economic Interest Group where she built the capacity of cocoa and coffee farmers organisations, looked for seed funds for the group members and linked them to markets. Between 2010 and 2015, she held leadership positions in Solidaridad Network and at Fairtrade International. Madeleine led development programmes on certifications (UTZ, RA, Fairtrade), child labour, income diversification and gender in different value chains (cocoa, cotton, fruits, etc.) in West Africa, promoting and supporting multi-actor consultations. She holds a Master in International Trade.
